(2010 - Lose the weight I packed on last year... 80 pounds at least... 120 would be ideal-ish)

Previous Diets

All natural - seemed to work well. Portion control - tedious but also complimented the all natural well. Low Glycemic helps.

Favorite Workouts

Nature walks, yoga, hiking, Xpose Fitness classes, swimming, stretching, urban treking (my own term for hiking through cities and getting a good workout... with mini breaks between sessions to checkout cool area coffee shops, stores, museums, book stores, or attractions)

Things To Do Before I Die

Have 1 or 2 beautiful children. (check... Have one now - 2010) Find the love of my life. (thought I had this... still working on it I guess) See the Pyramids and where the Nile, Euphrates and Tigris meet.

Favorite Activities

Getting a moment to myself to take a warm shower, shopping, playing in the sun with my beautiful daughter, hiking (2010) Studying astrology, going out with friends, trying new foods, amusement parks, listening to music, dancing, watching movies, drinking coffee or wine, ...(2008)

All variations of music have something I enjoy. About Me

I stopped being a career woman and became a single mother. Quite taxing, but it somehow keeps me off of my feet more. My life is somewhat stressful (had to move home with family after my daughter's father and I split up), but it's blessed (I get to be close to family).

I need help really doing this. I started out trying to lose weight and gained almost 80 pounds instead. Totally went the wrong direction. I hope I'm really ready to do this this time. Pitbulls are welcome as friends. Nice people are nice, but it takes a real sweetheart to give it to you straight.

Hey, sorry about the late reply. I've been terrible the past month, super busy. I work 10.5 hour shifts and train at the gym for 2.5 4-5x /week so I feel like I'm never home anymore. How has everything been going for you goal wise? Some tips? Well, eat 5-6 small meals a day. Make sure you get lots of protein in the morning. If you're going to eat food with a lot of carbs, make that meal in the morning or after a workout cuz that's usually when your metabolism is the highest. For exercise, I have a hard time motivating myself to workout but I manage somehow. However I lose motivation quickly so a good way to help is to get a personal trainer or just a gym membership. I have a trainer that keeps me motivated because I need him. If you can find a good trainer around you it's a good idea to invest some of your spare change for that, even if it's just once or twice every 2 weeks. They can give you great pep talks and weekly assessments which really help. Hope some of that helps, if you don't get a trainer, let me know maybe I have some other tips for ya :) take care

Great job. I'm thinking about going jogging tonight. Maybe do a mile outside. I'm also planning to do a workout dvd. We'll see if I can actually follow through!

Hey there. To get me motivated, I usually come this site or watch the biggest loser!! I also try and get plenty of sleep so I have energy to workout.

I've also been taking pictures of myself to track my progress.

Just keep coming back and I'll try to motivate ya!!
