I’ve been guilty of some serious stress eating the last couple of weeks. My dad, who turned 84 last week, had a major stroke and has been in poor health since early March. I haven’t been eating right, and I’ve only been to the gym to work out once in the last two weeks. I was also involved in an Easter drama at church that took a good bit of my time. The bottom line is that I’ve been letting other things keep getting in the way of working toward my weight loss and fitness goals, and my family’s first beach trip is now just two months away. It certainly doesn’t look like I’ll be wearing a Speedo this summer!

There is so much you can do in two months! It can be hard for some people, but if you get up an hour early in the mornings to workout you'll have the entire day for other things! Plus, you'll have more energy throughout the day. Once you start doing it, your body clock will shift naturally.

I'm very sorry to hear about your dad.
