Nick, Congratulations on losing 15 pounds! That is soooo awesome! I am so proud of you. Keep up the great work. I am so impressed you manage to exercize with your busy schedule.

Hey Nick, you need to excercise at night when you get done in class...go to the exercise room at the hotel! You look great, by the way!

Nick, I think you look very nice these days. Whatever you're doing seems to be working.

Wow, I can't believe how many inches you've lost. Fabulous work! Is that just from exercising?

Nick, looks like you're slacking on the exercizing...you can do better this week! I messed up this weekend on no chocolate or icecream. So I restarted again and am not gonna eat any junk till my birthday. Do you want to join me?

Hey Nick, good job on the exersize...have you started the no "trigger" foods? Are you still drinking soda? When you made cookies on Sunday did you eat any? Another way I like to think is, is it worth the calories I'm eating? You can do it!!

Alright Nick...no change in weight since you started...whats going on?? I really like Jami's idea of staying away from trigger foods...have you tried it?? I want to see a loss of two pounds by next week! Keep working hard man...it takes time but the rewards are great!

Ok, here's how it works...what are your "trigger" foods? Meaning, you have a hard time limiting yourself to a small quantity of these items? I decided to forgo all chocolate, icecream, cake, cupcakes, and cookies and candy because ALL of that stuff is a "trigger" food. That means not even 1 M&M, or even 1 spoonful of icecream. I allow myself to still have regular meals, including muffins if I make them because muffins aren't something I'll sit and eat 10 of...and I let myself have a poptart every now and then because, same thing....I'm ok with just having 1. So you decide what you want to go without and mark your calendar when your 40 days are up...or start with 20 and see how it goes. What surprises me is how often I would be consuming junk when I realize how often I'm not acccepting that dessert or treat that everyone else is eating. Ours is a pig culture. Wait and see. I still let myself have french fries cause that's not a regular item in our home menu, just occasional. Tailor it to yourself. Good luck!

Hey Nick, I've been going without junk for 18 days...you can jump in anytime. I made a cake for company this weekend and didn't have any!! It just about killed me :) I want icecream and cookies so bad. You should join me in the torture.
