Hello fellow UNYR2 competitor,
I’m sending this message to all original members of the Ultimate New Years Resolution 2 challenge. You may or may not be aware, but this challenge has ended in speculation. There have been accusations of cheating by members, and in the end a refusal by the challenge author (HEAVYMETAL) to pay out ANY prize money. The reason that I am posting this is to make everyone aware of the suspicious actions of HEAVYMETAL, and to propose a solution.
You paid money to join the challenge, and whether you stood to win prize money or not, you deserve to know where your money went. At this point I do not feel that ANYONE should be receiving ANY prize money. The only fair resolution to this challenge is for HEAVYMETAL to refund each and every person who originally entered the challenge. And I say this even though I finished in the top 3. HEAVYMETAL originally posted that he was going to refund each person who successfully completed the challenge (presumably “pocketing” the rest). However, he has since then deleted that message. He has also stated that his pc time has been reduced; however I believe this to be a “stall tactic”. I personally do not believe that HEAVYMETAL still has the money.
If HEAVYMETAL actually has the money, then it should be no problem to refund each person. However, all money needs to be refunded IMMEDIATELY. I have posted a list of all original members on HEAVYMETAL’s home page and I have requested a refund for each person. To make it even more clear, you may want to post your username and PayPal email address on HEAVYMETAL’s home page and personally ask him for a refund of the $40 entry fee. Any delay by HEAVYMETAL to refund everyone only confirms his guilt.
A discussion forum has been set up (outside of WeightLossWars) in order to further discuss everything that has occurred:

You have used your one and only allowed missed weigh-in, missing another will result in being disqualified from the competition.

A *new* topic--oh no, you're asking me to be creative??
Lol, ok, thanks! :)

Just wanted to take a minute to clarify and make sure you understand our "Postings" Rule. Each week you must post a 'NEW' topic (comment) AND each week you must reply (comment) to another members new top post on the main competition page.
A new top can be anything as long as your bringing a new subject to the board: a health related article or information you copy and paste to the board, your favorite healthy snack, changes your implementing to your healthy lifestyle, venting about a change is difficult for you, Questions (on a new subject) that you feel other members may be able to answer or offer advice on, etc etc...
Thanks and good luck this upcoming week. :)

You have been disqualified from the BLT3 competiton for having a 2nd missed weigh-in and failure to meet your required competition board posting. You will remain in the group for board support, if you like. Thanks and good luck with all your health related goals.
